Handle: brass inlaid guard in a Nordic pattern; antler section with Jelling serpent carving; brass, horn, and bird’s eye maple spacers; forked antler tine with mosaic pin and Norse carvings (Sowilo “victory”, Algiz “protection”, Tiwaz Isa Raido “Tir”).
Sheath: “Death on the point abided, fear set on the edges pale.” Quote from the saga of Sigurd carved in runes and set within the bodies of intertwining Jelling style beasts.
