Huginn and Muninn, a Norse themed puukko, is a 3.5″ blade hand forged from 52100 industrial roller bearings salvaged from damaged bearings and 1084 steel powder; it features a Nordic grind with a forged finish. On the spine is inlaid in brass HuginninuM (Huginn with Muninn “reflected”) with the shared nn runes in silver in the Elder Futhark. The handle is comprised of brass fittings and spacers with rosewood, maple, and walnut. There are opposing raven carvings on the spine of the handle taken from bird brooches from the Uppåkra find and an Icelandic Ægishjálmur engraved on the pommel. The sheath has the same ravens with engraved brass fittings.
